A place to update and give accolades
...My sincere gratitude to those of you who have joined this project to reach out to others and for supporting me in my efforts. MS
Rockhurst University Occupation Therapy students created a 2nd wave by sending 100 amazing High FIves-Up High to be distributed to essential workers and patients.
The person that inspired this project was in the inaugural class of Occupational Therapists at Rockhurst College!
A very special thank you to Rockhurst University Students for your creativity, compassion, and action. What a special way to celebrate the Rockhurst Way. We wish each of you the best in your own futures! May you always know what a difference you make!

August 2020 We added a new exciting option!
I like to think of this new school style as the WINDOWS TO THE WORLD!
It is a great for way for people to actually see smiling faces!!
It is also such a quick and easy way to participate!
Simply take a picture of yourself or others sharing a High Five and send it to us! We will print and distribute it. We will also add to our wave so that we can share virtually.
Have fun with it!
A very special THUMBS UP to Paxley, her grandmother, and her dad for the many different collections of Paxley's 3-year-old hand and artwork and for taking the time as a family to do something so special and meaningful for others. Update: Paxley is now 4 years old and she and her family are continuing to make a creative and kind difference by submitting even more beautiful High Fives! Thank you!

Mail sent to the PO Box may have been returned because I did not list the name of the project on the PO box. I am working with them to change this...' person who takes care of changing the labels is on vacation for two weeks'. Apparently, if you did not have your return address it simply disappears or joins your missing socks in an alternate universe. I was unable to get a real answer. There is more to my 'postal story' but If you do not mind, please send it again or scan and send it to alightwillshine@gmail.com. I really apologize for the inconvenience.
Our very first 'snail mail' arrived in our PO Box. It was unfortunately returned and had to be sent again. This experience as it made me go a little postal myself.
